Delivering 225 Watts continuous per channel into 8 Ohms (400 Watts into 4 Ohms and 600 Watts into 2 Ohms), the MCA 225 Gen 2 drives demanding, low-impedance passive loudspeakers with speed, control, and zero dynamic compression.
The Gen 2 iteration features a redesigned internal topology that eliminates internal cabling to establish a direct signal path, significantly reducing noise and stray magnetic interference. Powered by a custom low-flux toroidal transformer and equipped with 8 high-current bipolar output devices per channel, the MCA 225 Gen 2 yields an ultra-low noise floor with a 120 dB signal-to-noise ratio. Outfitted with Anthem's proprietary Advanced Load Monitoring (ALM™) technology, the amplifier continuously tracks temperature, voltage, and current without placing sonic-degrading fuses in the signal path.
