Klipsch OJAS kO-R2 Limited Edition

The Klipsch/OJAS kO-R2 are a 2-way design comprised of an Ojas 1506 cast aluminum multisectoral horn with K-706 HF compression driver and a Klipsch K-33-E 15” fiber-composite cone woofer as found in the Cornwall IV. The Ojas-designed 13-ply Grade A Baltic birch ply cabinet (46” H × 25” W × 22” D) also comes in a powder-coated Hammertone Silver finish and the The kO-R2 are built in Klispch’s historic Hope, Arkansas factory.

Handcrafted in Hope, Arkansas, USA by skilled artisans – where we’ve been building high-quality, highly-efficient, Klipsch loudspeakers for over 80 years – the kO-R2 is a meticulously crafted two-way, horn-loaded sound reproducer of unparalleled acoustic and aesthetic quality. The high-frequency horn is driven by a powerful Klipsch K-706 compression driver, while the low-frequency cabinet is powered by an impressive Klipsch K-33-E 15-inch woofer. 

BUILT TO STUN

The kO-R2 epitomizes Ojas's minimalist ethos and visionary speaker design philosophy, incorporating bespoke materials such as an exposed, 15-cell, sandcast-aluminum, multisectoral horn and Baltic birch plywood cabinet construction. Technical inspiration for the horn came from a number of design features from classic Western Electric horns and Altec multicellular horns - The multisectoral approach of the 25A, the throat expansion geometry from the KS12025, and the faceted look of the Altec multicellular design. Square and isosceles trapezoid mouths arrangement creates visually interest and even-frequency distribution in the horizontal and vertical planes. Available in Red Oak veneer or Hammertone finishes with a powder coated, matte black, horn.
