Extended Low-Frequency Scale & Uncompromising Resonance Control | Available at Trimira Audio
The AVID EVO THREE™ Black Cabinet Loudspeakers bring AVID HiFi’s advanced loudspeaker engineering into a full-range floorstanding design, delivering increased scale, dynamic authority, and extended low-frequency performance for demanding two-channel systems.
Finished in a high-gloss Black cabinet with precision-machined brushed anodised aluminium front and rear baffles, the EVO THREE™ combines refined aesthetics with a rigid acoustic platform designed to minimise unwanted resonance.
Featuring AVID’s proprietary Tuned Mass Technology™ (TMT™), a 28 mm Acuflex™ soft dome tweeter, and dual 160 mm damped polymer composite bass/mid drivers, the EVO THREE™ delivers expansive imaging, controlled bass response, and excellent musical clarity.
Key Features & Technological Innovations
-
Tuned Mass Technology™ (TMT™): Internal damping system absorbs and dissipates vibration energy to reduce cabinet coloration and improve acoustic purity.
-
Hybrid Structural Architecture: Precision-crafted MRMDF cabinet construction combined with 20 mm aluminium front and rear baffles provides increased rigidity and resonance control.
-
Acuflex™ Hand-Coated Soft Dome Tweeter: 28 mm tweeter design with Acuflex™ damping technology delivers smooth, detailed high-frequency reproduction.
-
Dual 160 mm Bass/Mid Drivers: Twin polymer composite cone drivers with 75 mm titanium voice coil formers provide fast transient response and controlled low-frequency output.
-
Downward-Firing Reflex Loading: Bottom-firing bass port design helps optimise room interaction and placement flexibility.
-
Audiophile Crossover Network: 2.5-way second-order crossover featuring premium components and low-resistance air-core inductors.
