Massive Physical Scale & Uncompromising Resonance Control | Available at Trimira Audio
The AVID EVO FOUR™ Black Cabinet Loudspeakers bring AVID HiFi’s precision engineering approach to a high-performance standmount design, combining advanced cabinet control, carefully developed driver technology, and refined crossover engineering.
Finished in a deep Black high-gloss cabinet, the EVO FOUR™ features a moisture-resistant MDF enclosure with precision-machined 20 mm anodised aluminium front and rear baffles, creating a rigid acoustic platform designed to minimise unwanted resonance.
At the centre of the EVO FOUR™ design is AVID’s Tuned Mass Technology™ (TMT™), a cabinet damping approach designed to absorb and dissipate mechanical energy before it colours the musical signal. Combined with a 28 mm Acuflex™ soft dome tweeter and 160 mm polymer composite mid-bass driver, the EVO FOUR™ delivers excellent clarity, controlled bass response, and expansive imaging.
Key Features & Technological Innovations
-
Tuned Mass Technology™ (TMT™): Internal damping system reduces cabinet vibration and helps prevent unwanted panel coloration.
-
Hybrid Cabinet Architecture: Features an 18 mm moisture-resistant MDF cabinet structure with rigid 20 mm aluminium front and rear baffles for improved structural stability.
-
Acuflex™ Hand-Coated Tweeter: 28 mm soft dome tweeter with Acuflex™ damping compound and Hexatech voice coil technology for clean, detailed high frequencies.
-
High-Power Mid-Bass Driver: 160 mm polymer composite cone driver with a 75 mm voice coil former provides accurate transient response and controlled bass performance.
-
Downward-Firing Reflex Loading: Bottom-firing port design with diffuser plate helps optimise bass response and reduce placement sensitivity.
-
Audiophile Crossover Network: Hand-wired second-order crossover featuring premium components and custom bi-wire binding posts.
