The AVID Altus™ Reference 9-Inch Tonearm combines precision mechanical engineering with a rigid, medium-mass design to provide exceptional cartridge control, accurate groove tracking, and refined analogue performance.
Hand-assembled in Cambridgeshire, England, the Altus is engineered to efficiently manage mechanical energy transfer between the cartridge and turntable platform. Its rigid aluminium arm tube, high-precision bearing assembly, and Progressive Bias Compensation system deliver excellent stability, low friction movement, and detailed musical reproduction.
