Building upon the Dark Iron foundation, the upgraded edition incorporates AVID’s premium precision-machined resin platter mat and dual-operation record clamping system to further improve vinyl coupling, vibration control, and low-level detail retrieval.
Finished in a distinctive Sparkle Black anodised Dark Iron finish, the ACUTUS™ Dark Iron (UPGRADED) features a 10 kg mass-loaded aluminium platter, inverted sapphire bearing system, adjustable three-point suspension, integrated motor architecture, and external DSP Vari-Speed control unit.
